Luton International College adopts procedure and policies largely in tune with the UK Government’s policies. It is the responsibility of the students to visit the college notice boards and take note of the procedures and policies of the College.
LIC has three open days for student’s enrolment in a year. They are September, February and May. On account of the unavoidable circumstances if a student arrives late in Luton, the admission committee may recommend him for undertaking extra classes so as to cope up with the syllabus studied by his batch students. However if he is too late in arriving in Luton, the admission committee may recommend in shifting to the next open date.
THE COMPLETED APPLICATION SHOULD BE ACCOMPANIED BY
1. Three passport size photographs of the student
2. Certified copies of the relevant educational certificates
3. Copies of Passport
4. Registration fees of £ 100 (Non-refundable)
5. A letter from previous college
Upon successfully meeting the required criteria for admission and verification of the documents, the college will issue the student with Conditional Offer Letter. Then only on receipt of minimum of £800 (or less if the course fee is lower) the college will issue the Unconditional Letter of Acceptance which is required to apply for the visa.
All the payments should be made in cash or by the crossed cheque or Bank Draft drawn in favour or LIC. The application form can be downloaded from the College website www.lutonintcollege.com or the College will send it to the students by post on request. Completed application forms should be sent by email by normal mail or submitted directly.
APPLICATION PROCEDURE
For students wishing to obtain entry clearance before coming to UK, the following guidelines have been drawn up after consultation with embassy and High Commission officials.
Visit the British Embassy/High Commission, VFS or any appointed body, in person with the following documents:
1. Letter of enrolment from the college, which states that college has received tuition fees and place, is reserved on the course.
2. Any other relevant documents sent by the college (Accommodation Letter etc).
3. Passport.
4. Document showing the availability of funds to cover the tuition fee and cost of living in the UK.
5. Original copies of relevant academic certificates already obtained.
6. Documentation to demonstrate the intention to leave the UK after completion of studies.

The tuition fee for the course for which a student has been accepted is stated in the enclosed Letter of Acceptance. Student may remit the tuition fee by one of the following methods:
a) Banker’s draft payable to “Luton International College” and posted to the college using a reliable postal or courier service.
b) Direct transfer to the College bank account, the details of which are as follows:

On remittance made by the students, the college should promptly be informed by returning the completed “Free Remittance Form” enclosed with the letter of acceptance.
Only payments made directly to the college will be recognised. Visa letter will only be issued when payment has been cleared by the bank. Remittance charges are student’s responsibility.
ACCEPTINCE OF STUDENTS BY LIC:
College enrols the students after verifying the previous educational and experience records. A place is reserved for student in the College. The College forfeits the fee if the student withdraws from the course at any time after 31 days.
The admission committee of the college reserves the right to reject the admission to a student who, in their opinion does not satisfy the rules and regulation of the College. The students are advised not to send their original certificates or document by post for seeking admission. However, the original documents would be verified after the student arrives in the college. Once completed the students attains the required qualification criteria, LIC issues the Unconditional Offer letter which would be issued for the student to obtain the Visa from British High Commission in his/her country of residence.
ENROLMENT DOCUMENT
LIC issues the enrolment documents to the students which bears the unique ID Number, duration of course, type of course, admission date validity and any other relevant details.
The enrolment form would be signed by the student of arrival in LIC which would be stored as permanent record and becomes the property of the College.
